Allium christophii

Star of Persia

Fleshy, strap-like foliage forms a mound that gives rise to a thick stalk bearing a sphere of buds in May. By mid to late May buds open to form a beefy circle of lavender bloom that lords above the foliage. Unique, showy and easy to grow!
